Carroll Academy for GED and Diploma program 356-7242

Student must be 16 years of age or older to participate in listed programs.
I High School: Carroll Academy Intensive, structured training in core high school courses and electives. Special attention is given to learning styles of the individual student. Flexible, self- directed learning opportunities. Counseling provided for post secondary school transition and employment/career counseling.
Accredited through the New England Assoc ofHigh Schools and Colleges Students may enter as:
A. Fully Enrolled: will receive a high school diploma from Carroll Academy.
All credits from former high schools accepted, life experience credits available. Fully enrolled students are eligible for scholarship assistance. $100 per full course.

B. From Other High Schools: credit transfers back to your high school of record.
Don't drop out, this is your opportunity to make up a credit that you need for your high school graduation. Permission of your guidance counselor is required. $130 per full course
C. Students who need certain courses to be accented in QQst second~ schools.
Prerequisite courses on the high school level for certain programs of study in post secondary schools. Check with your post secondary school. $130 per full course
II. Adult Learner Services
A. GED Prenaration. Day and evening instruction for GED preparation. Free day
programs. GED Practice Tests available. Night study groups at Kennett High School and Kingswood High School, $20 for 10 week course. Materials provided.
B. Math & Reading. Free help is reading and math. Tutoring for Accuplacer .
C. English for Sneakers of Other Languages. Free Program help in speaking and reading English. D. Famil~ Services. Free program to assist parents toward more effective reading with their
children.
III. GED Examinations, Call to schedule. Examinations are monthly September through June.
